Heat Treat Operator

• Ability to check in work entering the Heat Treat Department
• Ability to generate necessary paperwork and prepare fixtures, processes and inspects the parts
• Ability to perform and/or monitors the analysis of variables and makes adjustments necessary to ensure that the equipment is operating properly
• Ability to take notes, record, report and file processing data in appropriate logs, on process sheets and on inspection reports
• Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance activities

Education / Experience

• Twelfth Grade or Equivalent Education
• At least (2) year of experience with the functions of the machines and to operate them competently and efficiently
• (2) Years of general shop/manufacturing experience before being assigned to heat treat operations
•  Able to read and understand drawings of product, and understand all written work instructions
• Able to use measuring instruments
• Able to speak fluent English
