Grinding Operator

• Able to check the route sheet (QD222) and blueprint for the operation and instructions
• Able to check the piece part for grinding stock
• Able to install the part into the machine and true up to within .0005” maximum T.I.R.
• Able to use proof spot when provided
• Able to check the sizes and, if is correct, remove the piece part from the machine
• Able to read and understand drawings of product, and understand all written work instructions

Education / Experience

• (3) years of experience with the functions of the machines and to operate them competently and efficiently
• A twelve grade education is desirable
• Experience with shop mathematics, micrometers, and measuring instruments
