Drill Press Operator

• Ability to set up and operates a radial drill, single spindle drill, computer aided tape drill, tap removing machine, and gang drill
•  Ability to drill, reams, taps, bores, countersinks and counterbores using drill jigs or by layout
• Ability to program, block, indicate and align
• Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, route sheets, and verbal orders
• Able to provide necessary hand tools and measuring instruments
• Able to use company provided gauging

Education / Experience

• Twelfth Grade or Equivalent Education
• At least (2) years of experience with the functions of the machines and to operate them competently and efficiently
•  Able to read and understand drawings of product, and understand all written work instructions
• Able to use shop mathematics, micrometers and measuring instruments
