Burring Operator

• Ability to deburr parts using an air gun, speed lathe, buffing machine, sanding machine, file, automatic burring machine, etch equipment and hand stamps
• Ability to file, chip, grind, buff, polish, etch, and/or stamp numbers and/or letters on work of varying shape or design requiring care to maintain contour edges and dimensions
• Able to perform these operations on metal parts in a vice or on a bench
•  Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, route sheets and verbal orders
• Able to provide necessary hand tools and measuring instruments
• Able to use company provided gauging

Education / Experience

• Twelfth Grade or Equivalent Education
• At least (1) year of experience with the functions of the machines and to operate them competently and efficiently
• Able to read and understand drawings of product, and understand all written work instructions
• Able to use shop mathematics, micrometers and measuring instruments
